Just in case you can help someone else down the road: this great result was with 3M Micropore Surgical Tape. It's very lightweight; feels papery. Hypoallergenic. The moisture from my skin didn't seem to be a problem at all. At least in the two hours I had it on. I'll give it an all-night run as soon as I'm not as congested.Pugsy wrote:Well....I think we have figured out where the leaks are coming from.
I've got six more nights before I see Doc #2, so we can still do some experimenting...Pugsy wrote:As suspected, a reduction in pressure has allowed the OAs to increase rather significantly. Wonder what would happen at 8.5 or 9.0?

You seem to have a session at around 2 PM (which isn't in the zoomed graph) maybe your pressure was still at 8 at that time? Did you check your machine setting to see if it was at 7/7?RubySnooze wrote:That's weird. I'm pretty sure I had the machine set to min / max of 7 / 7 last night. But on this SH graph, it says min 7 / max 8. And under "Statistics" both the 95% pressure and Max pressure say 8. But the pressure chart (which I didn't include here) is a flat line at 7.

At this point, experimenting is pretty much all that's left! While Pugsy wonder what would happen at 8.5 or 9.0, I'm really wondering about what would happen at 4 (on fixed) for at leat 2-3 nights... So maybe you can split your remaining nights between those two pressures if you don't want to continu to lower your pressure by 1 every couples of days , it's up to you!RubySnooze wrote:I've got six more nights before I see Doc #2, so we can still do some experimenting...

Ahhh! OSAHell, you are brilliant! Yes, I did lay down in the afternoon and breathe on oxygen for a while. And I wouldn't have changed the settings yet.OSAHell wrote:You seem to have a session at around 2 PM (which isn't in the zoomed graph) maybe your pressure was still at 8 at that time?

Leaks felt exactly the opposite of what the chart shows. Tape felt secure until around 4 a.m. Or at least I was sleeping well enough to not notice any leaks. After 4, I probably slept some but it felt shallow and I was doing a lot of groping around for leaks. I'm amazed that section after 4 looks so good. 'Cuz it sure didn't feel that way!Pugsy wrote:Just how secure was the tape when you woke up those times during the night?
The last sleep session...the leak is much more stable so I assume the tape was fairly secure the last time frame.
Interesting also is that last time frame has minimal events happening...did you get back to sleep?

I think you need more tape, your top leak rate should be around 25-30.
I really don't think this latest tape is leaking. It's powerful stuff. I have trouble lifting a corner to pull it off in the morning. And feeling well waxed after I do pull it off.palerider wrote:I think you need more tape, your top leak rate should be around 25-30.
