Here are the number.

This is reference to an older topic. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to start a new one or not.

Okay, here are the numbers...

Sleep efficiency 66%
Sleep Latency 97.5
25.8% Stage 1
74.2% Stage 2
0 % Stage 3
0 % REM
AHI 4.7
RDI 9.5

The total arousal index was increased at 39.3.
Respiratory arousal index was 5.6

Diagnosis was mild obstructive sleep apnea, mild snoring, and he also said that I had poor sleep architecture and efficiency that might lead to under/over estimation of the sleep related breathing disorder.

I was told that I needed a CPAP. What concerns me is no REM sleep. Could this be happening frequently and would CPAP help? The technologist said that the test was a false negative because I didn't achieve REM sleep. She said that apnea episodes are greater in REM sleep and the doctor said that I had poor sleep architecture which I don't even understand. I'm new to this so thank you for any responses.

If you are not sleeping and breathing at the same time then CPAP will help you. If you are not breathing and sleeping most likely that is why you have NO REM and poor architecture.

Go with the program sounds to me like you are on the right track.

I wish you well...
