Items to Sell (quickly)

Post by BleepingBeauty » Wed Jun 03, 2015 6:49 am

ETA: THE AIRFIT P10, THE BATTERY AND THE MACHINE ARE NOW SPOKEN FOR. Two people have asked me about the Total Face Mask, but I don't have a firm answer on anyone wanting it yet.

Hi, all. I'll be leaving FL in a few days, and I'd like to sell the equipment I brought with me so I don't have to ship it home and then sell it from there. Dad's okay; my mother's bitchiness has reached new heights, and it's time for me to go home...

The items I have:

Respironics M Series (older model) APAP:

Respironics Total Face Mask (size L):

Respironics Premium Chinstrap:

SPOKEN FOR Resmed Airfit P10:

THE BATTERY AND MACHINE ARE NOW SPOKEN FOR I bought the APAP about five years ago and used it for about six months until I got an ASV. It works perfectly. The C-222 SuperCPAP Battery will run this APAP for about 27 hours at a pressure of 12cm. It will only run my ASV for about 6 hours, so I brought it here in case Dad needed it during Hurricane Season; but my mother's negative about him getting therapy at all (and I wonder if my dad will even be using his machine a week after I leave), so she certainly won't do what's necessary to hook the machine up to a battery when there's no power otherwise. The battery comes with the original booklet, all of the possible attachments (including the cigarette lighter adapter), and the carrying case. The APAP has the attached humidifier (and chamber, of course), a Smart Card, the power brick and electrical cord, the carrying case, etc. For the machine: $150. For the battery: $150. Plus shipping for each (or both together).

The Premium Chinstrap is like new. I was concerned for Dad's claustrophobia, so I brought it in the hopes that it would work with a nasal pillows mask, but he didn't like the chinstrap and is now using the F10 mask. Since I use a Hybrid, I don't need the chinstrap, either. Chinstrap: $10 plus shipping.

The Airfit P10 (L) was used by Dad for about a week, but it just wasn't for him. It looks like new. Used P10: $20 plus shipping. SPOKEN FOR

The Total Face Mask was given to us (I thought it might work for Dad's claustrophobia early on, but he wasn't fond of this mask). So I'll give it to anyone who thinks it might work for them. Paying it forward.

If anyone has questions, let me know. I'll try to check this thread as often as I can (and update when things are no longer available). Feel free to PM me or post here. I need to ship this equipment by Saturday. TIA

Hi, Sheila. I responded to your PM, but here's the answer:

I bought the battery shortly after I bought the APAP, so about four years ago; I did use it (to test it) and got about 27 hours (at 12cm) out of a full charge. It only gives me about six hours of time on my current ASV machine, so I've only used it during a short-lived power outage with that machine. It still works well.

I'm glad I had it when I needed it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Robin

Update:

The battery and the P10 are spoken for, and I think the Total Face Mask is also spoken for. Still have the machine. (Any takers? Offers welcome. It's a solid back-up machine that can also be used in CPAP mode). Have to wrap that up today so I can hit the P.O. tomorrow to ship these items (just before I fly home).

Whether I ship the machine to someone else or it ends up going back home to me, I'm shipping it tomorrow.

Some of you folks that are looking for machines that don't have insurance should jump on this - these are rock solid machines that will last years with no problems and a great price.

Someone contacted me via PM about the Total Face Mask, but that's not final yet. Just so you and everyone else knows, this is not a typical FFM (one that covers just your nose and mouth); this covers the whole face. Again, it's free to whoever asks for it; just trying to be fair in a first-come/first-served way.

Another update:

SOLD: MACHINE, BATTERY, P10

The only other thing I'd like to pass along (for free) to someone tomorrow is the Total Face Mask, but I'll ship it home if need be and then try to give it away later. Thanks, everyone.
