Resmed S9 H5i for sale. Newbie

Hi all!

I am new here. Just joined this morning because I was looking for a place to see my CPAP unit and found my way here.

I have a Resmed S9 H5i for sale. There are many accessories and I can't speak to any of them. This was my husband's unit which he hated to use, so didn't. He was a very fussy guy and hated anything on his face. Thus, he had every face mask made and still hated it. I can't tell you how many hours it was used. I turned the machine on to see if I could find that information and the counter doesn't show anything.

I tried to include a picture of the items I have. Feel free to ask me questions. If you want me to contact you privately, please tell me how to do that!

porschewife -- There are quite a few different ResMed S9 machines and they have different therapy functions so it's important to know the exact machine. What does it say right by the Start/Stop button -- Escape, Elite, Escape Auto, Autoset, VPAP, or.....

Then watch the brief tutorial on the S9 (link in my signature box) to see how to access the clinical menu so that you can get the exact number of RUN hours, take some photos, and post them here. RUN hours are different from Use or Therapy hours because RUN hours cannot be reset to zero by the user.

Photos need to be uploaded to a site like imgur or Photobucket -- then copy and paste the image code for each photo here.

Also post information on whether the machine has been in a smoking household or a home with pets.

And make sure the machine is yours free and clear and not still in a rental period with insurance.

What is the REF number on the back of the blower unit ... 360XX what is the XX ?

the h5i is the humidifer, there are at least 14 different models of resmed s9 blower units, (the part the plug goes into)

The S9 says Elite near the power button. It comes from a non-smoking home. But, we do have a cat.

On the back of the H5i it says the REF is 36900.

On the back of the S9 unit, the REF is 36003.

No image of the unit running or Blower hours.

I watched the video, I went through the entire menu on the machine and I cannot find the run hours. I am sorry.

How do I show the machine running? Remember, I have never used this machine or watched it being used. Tell me what you want to see. Do I plug it in and attach hoses? And then what??

You want to look at the screen which says Sleep Report and on that screen something like Used Hours or Run hours

The machine needs to be plugged in but you don't need to attach the hose or have the machine running. On the Elite, look for RUN hours which cannot be set back to zero. (Usage Hours can be reset.)
