Dear All,
I would like to thank you for all your help.
I came here 3 month ago, not knowing what to do. I asked a lot of questions, and I received a lot of help and insights.
My special thanks to Pugsy, palerider, robysue, coolbranch, and many others!
I would share a bit what I have been through, who knows it could be useful for somebody else.
I don't have any symptoms, my weight is normal, but I always realize I snore loudly. My doctor (Kaiser) prescribed at home sleep study, and I went with CPAP 7 day trial using nasal mask.
Nasal mask works fine during those 7 days. But after I received my own machine, somehow, the mask became so uncomfy for me.
I used to wake up in the morning with my mask already off without recalling what happened the night before.
I also have an issue with narrow airway passage on my nose. I went to the Head and Neck Surgery doctor (ENT), the doctor said everything is normal inside.
My issue is that my turbinates is swollen when it's bed time. I tried to use full face mask, in the hope that I can breath from my mouth when my turbinates is swollen. Didn't help.
I finally found the mask that work for me, nasal pillow, as it blows directly and help open up my turbinates.
And it is soooooo comfy. Kaiser only has Resmed nasal pillow, and that's what I have now.
Thank you so much!
