It wasn't a heart attack! Yay!

Post by Liam1965 » Wed Apr 29, 2015 5:16 pm

So, after a week of trying to get used to my new CPAP and basically not sleeping, plus scrambling to try to make all of the arrangements for my trip tomorrow to Berlin (yes, Germany), I've had some shortness of breath problems, which are probably exhaustion and anxiety related.

But I had a random doctor appointment and, being tired, I made the mistake of mentioning that, and suddenly I was on a gurney in the ER spending 6 hours having two EKGs, blood work, plus a Stress-Echo EKG.

All to find out that it was not my heart, it was just (most likely) my exhaustion and my anxiety... Leaving me tonight with 6 hours less to do the things I need to do before leaving tomorrow. Ain't life grand?

But at least my heart is good.

Liam, trying to decide whether to quote "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" or Blondie's "Heart of Glass" in this signature...

Glad that experience didn't actually give you a heart attack! Really mostly just glad you're OK. And have a good, safe trip.

Almost worth the 6 hour delay to have that great information. Glad you are ok. Enjoy your trip.

According to Murphy's law, you wouldn't have the heart attack until you are in that aluminum tube 36,000 ft hign, halfway to Germany! That's how Murphy works. Jim
