Re: replacement schedule
I have never noticed any difference whether my filter was clean or dirty. When I remember to check it I rinse it off and give a full day to dry. Whenever I get new masks or tubing I get new filters. I have one new spare now. I do check more often when my allergies are keeping me congested.

Re: replacement schedule
Also call you supply service and ask questions. The replacement schedule for me has gone from twice a year to once a month to every four months. And it is different for filters, tubing, masks, and cpap machines. I keep mine all logged in my phone's calendar. I also recommend getting a new mask as a backup in case the current one breaks.

Re: replacement schedule
I'm more concerned with the MediCare/Medicaid/Medical and other insurance requirements, so that one can know what one can expect, and one doesn't have to rely solely on the DME, in spite of the fact that I've been quite happy with mine. YMMV.

Isn't this what you said yesterday?
You won't be hearing much if anything from me in the future. I have better things to do with my time.
Despite the foregoing, I am indeed thankful for much that I have learned here.
Goodbye!
