on the left side (facing the unit) under the sd door there is another door with what looks like a plug any ideas what it is?

Is it the USB adaptor ?
At first I thought was the sim card slot but I was then told by the company which sold the unit to me that the sim card is inside the unit itself .

It is the oximetry module.

Of course! Now, if only somebody would come up with an adaptor so you can plug in the affordable unit
instead of the solid gold one they have the sweetheart deal with.
Of course, Sleepyhead lets you synch in the CMS oxy's in the computer, after the fact.
I wonder how often the slot actually gets used.
