Hose position and leaks

Post by birdiebaby » Wed Jun 28, 2006 12:41 pm

In the sweltering heat last night, my makesift hose holder fell off of the wall. What I found interesting is that my leak rate doubled last night. They still are in a good range, but in addition to the heat, I got woken up several times with leaks all over the place. I think that perhaps the hose position being lower contributed to those leaks while sleeping on my side.

I'm just wondering if anyone has found any correllation to hose positioning and leaks.

There is definately a relationship because of the hose moving the mask on your face. I am having pretty good luck with the hose up over my head and then down behind the pillow and past the matress to loop back up to the machine. Lots of slack and no pulling on the machine or the mask.
