The beta testing group on apneaboad has created an updated version of the SleepyHead download page at sleepfiles.com.
The new version of the page is at
http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2
Changes:
- The javascript that was causing problems for some people is gone.
- The files are in zip format instead of .7z so people don't have to download and install the 7-zip program.
- It includes the 0.9.8-1 version instead of the older 0.9.6 version of SleepyHead. 0.9.8-1 works very well, has major improvements, and has 64 bit versions. The older 0.9.6 version didn't work for ResMed AirSense 10 machines.
- Updated translation files that handle different languages.
The files are 0.9.8-1-T2, instead of 0.9.8-1. The program files are the same. Only the external ".qm" translation files have been updated.
If you're using the Chrome browser, it may warn you that the zip file you are downloading may be dangerous. It's not telling you that it IS dangerous, it's a generic warning about .zip files. ANY .zip file you download can be dangerous. It's also true for the previous 7-zip format file, but Chrome doesn't flag that file for some reason.
If you are concerned, use a different browser, or run your own anti-virus scan against the file. Running an antivirus scan is a good idea for any file you download, no matter the source.
There are links to the older versions of the download pages and files on the new download page.
http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH will eventually be replaced by the new page.
Please start using the new http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2 page for now, and report back with any new problems or concerns.

Off subject, but every time I see your Pupito avatar, it causes me to squee, and it makes me smile.archangle wrote:The beta testing group on apneaboad has created an updated version of the SleepyHead download page at sleepfiles.com.

Thanks Arch. I need to update soon and wasn't sure whether I need the Broken or Open version for my Mac, and the new page helped me figure it out. I've also added the new link to my signature box.
