I made if through my first sleep study somehow and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. It was the second study I 'failed'.

I made it through the mask fitting for the second study and discovered the only way I could do CPAP was with a nasal pillow. Practiced with a P10 nasal pillow and realized 'I can do this'.

Unfortunately, first thing I did when i went to sleep for that study was have an apnea episode that woke me up and sent me into a wild panic attack where I pulled off the mask, probes, and couldn't recover to the point I could continue the test. I signed out at 1 am and went home and cried.

The forums suggested that maybe I could try an auto-CPAP as I had already been diagnosed, and the second study was to find the pressure setting I required. I took that solution to the doctor and that solution was put into place.

Can't worry on my failed test anymore as it resulted in me receiving the right equipment to treat my condition.
