Your care for your mother all these weeks showed her and all of us how much you loved her. You will continue to be in my prayers.

I am doing better. It has been a week today. I have had a lot of sleep and time to myself to try and find myself and my rhythms back. But family has also been by to commune together so it has also been a but busy.

Next week everyone will be gone and I plan to dig out my studio and my desk. Spring has come early this year and long walks with the dog are planned. I need to lose those 40 lbs I put on the last 3 years - many of them in the last few months (though chocolate is a great stress reducer it causes other problems especially when one is required to stay in a room too packed to stretch out in )

My father is still being a paranoid ass hat but I can deal with that now. I spend most of my time downstairs away from the twit.

Good for you for being able to keep it together and plan for tomorrow. And I so know what you mean about chocolate !

Be well.

I am just seeing this news. I am also sending warm hugs your way as you deal with the loss of your mother. May good memories help you work through everything. Your parents are indeed blessed to have you in their lives.

Take care of yourself too.

Karen

Dark chocolate.
Never settle for milk chocolate--even the "good" stuff!
