If the Op actually got $100 that's a pretty shitty thing to do.

Reminds me of some of the listings I've seen on Craigslist. One seller had an S9 Autoset with 50 hours, but it came with 4 Climateline hoses (2 used) and 6 masks (4 used). Another seller had an S9 (model unspecified). When I asked for the REF number, he said he already sold it, but he left the listing on Craigslist.

Buyer beware!

just fyi... it's a fair offer. that machine was the bottom of the line four generations ago.
Not to mention we don't know how many machine hours it has. Used from a sleep clinic? I'd expect high miles on this one.
I don't get this part either. A sleep lab machine needs to have all modes, be remotely controlled and be able to be interfaced to the PSG software (i.e., OmniLab), so this would absolutely NOT be a "sleep clinic machine".

The guy's a LSOS.

like this one?

These are the side and end views? So, this is not even disassembled, and the fan blade is visible. Very cool.

Can you refer me to the buyer? I have a couple of used masks... not yet but almost vintage. Then again, I might just hang onto them for the Smithsonian's medical products collection.

Agree with your assessment, but I suppose it could be from a really old sleep clinic. Reaalllly old.

if you look carefully, you'll see that there are turbine blades in each end.

here's a better view of the one in the other end:

the cream colored bit spins, the clear vanes straighten the flow.

Now there will another confused sleep deprived newbie begging info on how to get 'data' from their genuine brick. <sigh> What a world we live in.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Well even "Back in the Day", the first Sleep Laboratory machines were interface-able:
