Thanks, everyone, for the comments. The starting price was super high: $975, but I thought I'd contact the seller just to gauge the commitment to that price. Then the price quickly dropped to $725, and I think I will wait it out and then float out an offer of no accessories -- great idea on that, thanks. Funny how it was listed as "brand new" and then that changed to "used for a couple of days." I don't need the machine yet so I have time to keep looking. Grayghost's 560P would have been the far better deal if I needed one immediately. I'm such a poor negotiator on Craiglist -- I'm getting in some early practice for when I find the 'just have to have it' machine.

Have a great holiday, everyone!

Geez, $300 for a PRS1 Auto with humidifier is a reasonable price. Maybe $350 if you're really in a hurry and can't wait for a good buy to show up on craigslist.

Just clicked on this link. Wow, I have seen the future... an SD card that tranmsits data wirelessly! Next up, a CPAP machine built on an SD card with the help of 3-D printing technology.
