CPAP(dot)com VS Walgreens Sleep and Respiratory Services

Post by sfloresv » Fri Feb 13, 2015 1:14 pm

I'm needing to order replacement parts - Dual-Wall Spring Air™ Cushion for Mirage™ FX Nasal CPAP Mask-Wide, Head Strap, and Slim-Line Tubing.

Wondering if I should stick with Walgreens (they are a pain) - or switch to CPAP(dot)com for ordering those supplies.

Any advice is helpful.

Wow I had no idea you could order cpap supplies from Walgreens.... Interesting.....

I would definitely buy them through cpap.com especially if it's such a pain the other way.

I've never used CPAP.com before. Do you think their prices are decent? Customer Service and Delivery decent too? Do you have other CPAP supply stores online that you would recommend instead?

I have used cpap.com for nearly 6 years now. Always been happy with prices and services for complete mask packages or a replacement part.
If you are wanting to file insurance in lieu of payment....they don't do that though.

They are the company I would use if I had to pay out of pocket for supplies. You can compare prices for yourself. Jim

Insurance companies are screwy about who you can buy supplies from. If you're getting insurance coverage from Walgreen's, the insurance might not pay for cpap.com.

#@&)*(#$)&!!! medical mafia!!!

Cpap.com is pretty good, other than that, and the insurance thing is the insurance company's fault. They end up paying more for poorer service a lot of the time. Sometimes, it's even cheaper for the patient to go to cpap.com or other online supplier than it is to buy with insurance.

Sometimes, you can find good deals on e-bay. In theory, you can't buy a mask there, but you can buy mask parts.
