EEK Spider in Nasal Mask !!

Post by 348Win » Sat Feb 07, 2015 8:00 am

Well not really but I kept getting a tickle on my nose last night and it got me wondering. Anyone ever get a little bug crawl up the tube during the day and make its acquaintance at 3 A.M. ??

Oh I love it when people start talking bugs so I can really gross people out with the bug thread.
Not for the faint of heart...so you have been warned. Gets especially "interesting" the further you go into the thread.

Good reasoning why closing the end of the tube when not in use is an excellent idea. Insects love to hide in spaces like that.

Don't worry about that. Even without CPAP, we swallow an average of 8 spiders every night when we sleep.

I saw it on the internet, it must be true.

Just kidding, it's one of those bogus internet things going around a while back.

Oh my gosh, I have never thought of that. I will turn air on before connecting to mask to hopefully blow any and everything out of tube, and will stuff cotton in open end everyday.

There are oodles of itsy, bitsy creatures that are an intimate part of our daily lives, usually harmless.
I thought about going into detail, but I've said enough already.

Or til the fat lady sings.
So spiders, you say...I suppose I should knock down the little web in the corner of my sewing room door frame. The Boyfriend in his INFINITE wisdom decided to tell me that the little dots in there were spider eggs. A LOT of them. Crap. I think he forgot all the times I called him on the phone while he was in the shop or on a service call, telling him he needed to kill something or dispose of something (usually a mouse trap with a rodent caught in it)...or he likes to tweak me a bit, and see how long before I run into the other room, screaming. Not yet, rabbit...not yet.
