ResMed Headgear w/ Forehead Clip?

Post by Lukus » Mon Feb 02, 2015 11:27 am

I currently use the ResMed Activa LT mask and would like to know if there is a compatible accessory or headgear that would allow me to clip the hose so that it goes towards the forehead instead of pivoting towards the side?

I find the hose pulls on the mask and causes it to leak. Having the hose clipped towards the forehead or top of the head would move the pressure point away from the mask itself.

This is the mask and headgear I currently use: http://canadacpapsupply.com/resmed-mira ... dgear.html

This is a similar setup I would like to achieve: http://canadacpapsupply.com/fisher-payk ... dgear.html

While at it I should mention another problem I have with my mask/headgear. I have a large head and due to the thickness of my neck, the curvature of the back of my head is not that pronounced and rather flat. This causes the headgear to slide upwards at the back of my head causing the mask to slide upwards which results in either air leaks or blockage of my nostrils. Is there a headgear that offers better stability for people like me?

I might have the F & P Aclaim 2...can't promise because I need to check inventory.
Would you be interested in it if I have it and if so what size do you think you might need?
Free except for mailing costs which will be probably around $7 depending on which box it will fit in.
New and unused if I have one. I had a few and some went to new homes and I don't remember for sure if I have any left.

Otherwise I am not much help as I don't use any full face mask myself.

Take a look at the thread below. The clip will do exactly what you need to anchor the hose without going over your head. Let me know if you'd like me to send you one.
