Aura vs GoodKnight Travel CPAP

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Fri Jun 23, 2006 9:25 pm

Hi All,

I am interesting in buying a small CPAP to use while I travel. I've been looking at the GoodKnight and the Aura. Could any of you give me the pros and cons of these two machines or if you think there's a better small, lightweight, quiet, CPAP with humidifier, let me know.

There's probably a post on this subject already but I couldn't find it.

Thanks for your help.

I have a PB420e which is small and quiet which I am mostly please with.
I say mostly as I have had problems with the humidifier.
It travels well in the bag provided, so in 2 months mine has visited US, England and France.

Billy, what kind of problems did you have with the PB humidifier? I'll need a humidifier regardless of which machine I pick. I liked the idea that the Aura can run on an integrated battery (not that I need that) but I heard that the Goodknight was quieter running which would be important.

I have had the Goodnight 420 for a year and a half. It has been on several cruises, to eastern europe and around the US. It works fine and is very light to travel with. I carry it in my carry-on due to its light weight. I am still very interested in the Aura Everest with its battery power. We are planning a safari next year and they cut power at night in the game reserves. My home machine is a RemStar C-flex with a heated humidifier. I had very little problem in swithching between the two.

Hi.
I have the Good Knight. i Do alot of camping in places without civilization, and with the wire for the cigaret plug in you car, you will be able to use your CPAP for two nights without recharging the car batteries... (thats 16 hours or so)
It works, and it is a BIG freedom for me!!!
