Problems with Sleepyhead Download 0.9.6

I am having difficulty running Sleepyhead. I download it. Click on the Sleepyhead application file. Extract it. Click on Run. It lets me choose the preferred language (English US) and then it quits. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks.

Downloaded the latest version. Unpacked with WinZip. Now get the error about the widgets dll not on my computer. What now?

Did you extract to a different folder and attempt to open there by clicking on the openGL?

It extracted to my download file. Is there another process I should follow from inside WinZip? I see the Broken GL file but it will not run.

You can't open from inside winzip. You have to copy those files to another folder and open from the new folder. You should have both openGL and brokenGl. Try the openGL first if it doesn't work, try the brokenGL.

Try the 32 bit version. I also have 64 bit windows 7.x on my computers, but have the same errors with the 64 bit download version. 32 bit runs like a charm.

Yes, you can try both. My windows 7 64 runs openGl well. Just depends. I'm not sure we have gotten to the point yet to give up on the 64 but if you are not sure if you have a 64 then the 32 will also work.

Ready to give up altogether. 32 bit lets me choose English US for language and then just quits. Will not run. Neither Broken GL nor Open GL will run in 64-bit. I'm sad. I need this software

Does it give you an error for not running when you click on open or brokenGL?

No error just quits.

You might try the above download that I had to use to get mine running.

This is going to sound lame, but when was the last shut-down/restart you did on the computer. It can make a difference. If that doesn't work, I got nothin'

I sometimes need to restart after Sleepyhead fails. This should work.

I'm not sure that winzip works with a 7z file.

make sure you *extract* the zip file, then go into the folder that you extracted the files into.
