I usually use either a swift fx or a swift fx nano but I was wondering if anything new has hit the market lately that may be any quieter or better . Not that these two aren't quiet , I think they are but since it's time for new mask , I was just curious if there is anything new people are liking ?
Thanks

Re: New mask time
Resmed Airfit P10 is what you're looking for. I recently changed from a Swift FX, and while that was reasonably comfortable and effective, the jetstream of air it pushed was obnoxious. All solved with the Airfit P10. Much lighter and easier to wear, especially friendly for sleeping on the side. It's the best I've had yet.

Re: New mask time
P10 as mentioned for pillows, which is on my try list. You may already be aware or have tried the "relatively" recent designs in nasal mask. There is the very, very minimal Wisp from Phillips. The F&P Eson which is small cushion albeit with a traditional headgear and diffused vent option. The Resmed N10 from the same series as the P10. I'm sure there are a few others as well. Good luck!Aunkster wrote:I usually use either a swift fx or a swift fx nano but I was wondering if anything new has hit the market lately that may be any quieter or better . Re: New mask time
For me the hose on the Swift FX nano, both pillows and nasal, even with the swivel hose moved my mask due to it attaching directly to the cushion.
The P10 is my keeper, the hose is very light, flexible, and attached to a frame separate from the cushion. Minimal headware, very quiet and less face indentations. Some people have problems because the headware doesn't adjust enough for them, but I've been using it 4 months now without problems.

Re: New mask time
I own the Wisp, the Eson and the N10. I LOVE the Wisp and Eson and highly recommend both. However, in my opinion, the N10 is a terrible mask. The headgear is very comfortable and the magnetic clips are great, but otherwise I find it to be a big, loud, leaky mess. I tried to like it many times, but it shot air into my eyes and I couldn't stop the leaks. Also, the venting is loud and it blew all over me. I agree with others who like the P10. I own it and love it as well, but personally I find nasal cushions more comfortable than nasal pillows.
That's just my opinion and it could be just that the N10 is not suited to my face, as other people like it.
Good luck!
