S9 VPAP Auto vs VPAP ST
I trying to find the difference in models. I ask because I have found a few good deals on used models and would love to just buy one instead of killing my pockets renting.

the differences are best detailed in the clinical manual. do you have one?NewToBiPap wrote:I trying to find the difference in models. I ask because I have found a few good deals on used models and would love to just buy one instead of killing my pockets renting.
in short, the vpap auto is a 2 pressure version of an autoset, you set the epap pressure and pressure support, and the machine will raise and lower epap, maintaining the pressure support, as needed through the night.
the vpap st is a fixed dual pressure machine, with a backup timer that will switch to ipap and try to force a breath if you don't breath on your own within the time needed.
more details of the differences are in the clinical manual.
