Any masks can lower cpap titration setting pressure ?
Can not tolerate high pressure with existing mask and heard that some masks can be used to lower setting pressure for more comfortable ? Technically, all pressures at any closed surfaces should be equal in physic.

The masks themselves do not lower your pressure - you do that, but depending on other factors, you may be able to use lower pressures with certain masks more effectively than with others.

Re: Any mask can lower setting pressure ?
Using an auto, my pressures have been slightly lower with nasal pillows than with a full face mask.
I believe some others may have reported the opposite result.
My conclusion--wear the mask that is best for you, and try to stay off your back.
