Newly diagnosed sleep apnea
Hello. new poster. I was recently diagnosed with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. i am a 37 yo male. 215 pounds.
Been using cpap machine for 3 weeks now with really no positive results. i have no issues with falling asleep and wearing machine. Still waking up multiple times during the night...whats my next move? any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Eric -- Your next move would be to identify your machine for us -- exact make and model. Assuming you have a full data machine, then it would be time to see what kind of results you're getting. In other words, is your machine at the current pressure(s) setting actually treating your apnea?

Have you DL'd SleepyHead (free) from the first note on the forum page - Pugsy's Tutorial? It will give you lots of info about how things are going in many parameters so that you can get an idea what to tweak (and we'll tell you how).

Machine is resmed. using a nasal mask. pressure starts at 4 and ramps to 10.

Eric, If you look in the top left corner under the search box it will say user control panel. Click there then go to the tab for equipment and post yours in text. Then it will be there each time you post.
