I don't even want to think of it! We have freedom of speech, but that does not stop anyone from listening.

Obviously, to be fair, Sony must make a movie next year about whacking a US Pres. If you cant take the same joke, don't expect the N. Koreans to. Altho, their leader is a character who invites jokes.

He is a joke, even among his own people, but they must laugh very, very quietly.

Only if the action scenes were filmed live.

I used to know a guy who knew Korean. He did a stint as a LDS missionary in South Korea. He told me that in North Korea it was required to have picture of the Leader on the wall of their house. Everyone was required to bow to the picture when entering or leaving a room. I said who would know? Would a family member turn in another. He said it was reasonable to assume that everyone was so into that culture that a kindergarten child would happily report on their parents. Or a spouse. Ordinary North Koreans are told that they have the best quality of life of anyone in the world. It is interesting that during the 90's the US media reported that thousands of North Koreans were starving to death. Children suffered permanently damage because of nutritional deficiency. I knew a man who was then in the US Military who said that those stories of widespread starvation in North Korean was false.

I do not know what to believe.

I do believe the news story that North Korea has an enormous amount of artillery with an even more enormous amount of shells which can reach the main South Korean capitol of Seoul, like 25 million people. The great leader of North Korea may be represented as a clown to us, but given his willingness to allow his people to suffer for his whims, he is truly dangerous.

Now the great leader has some level of atomic weapons, and missiles.

So now YOU want to tell me what I should/n't watch? You DO realize that the DICTATOR who is made fun of has killed family, people he doesn't like or that disagree with him AND as an added bonus, counts DENNIS RODMAN as a friend??? Yeah...listen to THAT version of "Happy Birthday" being sung. Dennis can play ball but can't carry a tune in a bucket.
I appreciate that you don't agree with my movie choices, but I also liked "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert." So if you want to be a critic, at least watch the movie first. Laughter loosens tight sphincters. And these days of everything being PC, we ALL need a good laugh.

Edit: PLEASE tell me you realize that movies use special affects? Even Old Yeller didn't REALLY bite the big one for the movie.

I did not tell you what you should not watch or what you should watch. You just let Palerider incite you.

You did not answer my question. I don't think you will answer it.

Oh for craps sake. If you think I'm afraid to answer you absolutely don't know me.
If they want to make a movie in North Korea about killing off every one of the US presidents, past, present and future, who am I to bitch? Recall that America touts the WHOLE FREEDOM OF SPEECH thing? Anyhow...If they want to occupy themselves making some movie with kindergarten level special effects, it keeps them busy and out of trouble. Maybe it would make them happy to have a hobby.

Did i satisfy you? Or was there something else you feel I avoided?

Edit: why throw PR under the bus? I responded to YOUR comment. Not his. He is, for once, innocent of someone else's perceived misdeeds.

NOT a Seth Rogan film Fan don't care of that type of movies and have no interest in this movie. Never before when I saw the trailer for it, or read about it. When it became an issue, I still had no interest in it. I certainly wouldn't go to a theater to watch it, or even rent online. Not my kind of humor.

I know others that do, and that's great for them, but I am not interested.

I think people should be able to watch it if they want, but not my cup of tea.

BTW I'm not a fan of the 3 Stooges either... never saw those as funny. My wife likes them. I'd rather change the channel or read a book.

edit: oh, and north korea called obama a monkey, i wonder how that sits with her vapidness..?

My thoughts exactly Jim. Not that I am paranoid or anything like that.

All jokes aside, Christine L, I thought you asked a good question although to be honest, I really didn't know how to answer it. But I didn't see it as trying to tell people what not to see.
