Synchrony ST programming question

Post by Krelvin » Thu Jun 22, 2006 1:26 pm

Having a problem that might be a programming issue. I recall reading about the same thing here on the forum, but I cant find the topic where it was discussed.

Each time I've used the machine, I've waken up after about 3 hours. The first couple times, I wasn't really sure why. Last night however, I know why. The machine had stopped blowing air.

It was on, no alarms or anything, but no air was blowing out.

I turned off the machine, waited a minute and then restarted it and it started working fine.

If this is a programming function, I don't know how to access it. I got a users manaual for it online, which has no programming info in it. but if other machines could be programmed to do something like this perhaps this is the issue??

I played with the controls this morning and found how to get into program mode. I didn't see any option like I had heard about on the other units that could be misprogrammed to stop the machine after X number of hours.

I assume the issue is now a malfunction. If someone know otherwise.. I'm all ears.

I contacted the DME and they said they will have a replacement out Tomorrow. So I will have to deal with it another day.

The DME appeared to be confused and didn't know anything about programming of the unit.
