Wireless SD cards in xPAP machines

Post by Tatooed Lady » Sun Dec 14, 2014 4:57 pm

I'm looking for info on these. It's a PITA to unplug my main machine, disconnect the modem, THEN pop out the card every time I want to upload info to SH.
Is there a viable wireless SD card for dopes...er...technology challenged (yeah, that's it) individuals like me, or is it currently a hopeless pipedream? I'm afraid I'm going to damage something eventually. Oh, and I'm lazy and like gadgets.

I think that jackrussel fan got it working. though I haven't messed with it since early days, (not having a modem to have to contend with)

Mike, I know a couple places to get them...just want to know of actual xPAP experience using one. Plus, is there some extra access fee on ALL of them? I saw something about free 90 days access...THAT I'm not interested in.
PR, hop to it, man...you're supposed to be my main techiegeek buddy.

I am currently using an AirFlash Wireless SD card 16GB in my S9 for some time now. 16GB is over kill since it will never use that much data. As for details, I pull data from the card every couple days and Sleephead stores the details so it really doesn't matter if the detail is lost off the card over time. The sleep Dr when he looked at the card (used a normal card to show him) didn't even look at the detail info anyway, so that I just for me.

With some beta code, I never take the card out of the machine now, just pull the data wireless to my desktop and let Sleephead import the updated files found.

I know that palerider tried a 32GB SDHC card in his to see if it worked and he had no problems with it.

I wonder how often finger dexterity is a factor in people's interest in this.
My MIL was having trouble handling her test strips, and really benefited from a glucometer with a cartridge,
as opposed to single test strips. In view of this, it behooves the companies to offer this option themselves.

Yes, I am using SleepMaster for my S9 with good results. I pull data from it every day or two and haven't had to pull the SDcard out now for quite some time. I use the 16GB FlairAir card.

The only real problem that I have with it is that it won't connect if I have my wired connection still enabled. It will go through the motions but never pull data. So I disable my wired port first, enable the WiFi adapter and then do it and after I get the data, just reeenable the wired port and disable the WiFi adapter.

Works great. Been using 2.0.0.94 for more than a week now.

http://sleepmaster.org

He has a version of his software working with Ubuntu 14 with Wine Application, but I've never tried it.

Supports PRS1 and S9 data. Not sure if he has been able to do the Airsensor 10 or Aircurve 10 data yet.

I just uploaded new versions of the programs. Had to correct a data copy error for the PRS1's.

I would be happy to make Sleep Master compatible with the new Resmed Airsense 10, but I need someone to send me a copy of their SD card data.

Tom
