Agree. We sometimes forget that we're not a representative sample of sleep apnea patients. Many who come here are shocked by the information that they did not receive from their health care providers.

It is logical for a money-based medical system to draw a line in the sand and to say, 'If you use the machine less than this amount, we will refuse to pay for it.'

The mistake would be for anyone to look at that line in the sand and to assume that it actually means, 'If I only use my machine that amount, I am getting full benefit from it.'

Those are two very, very different--indeed, unrelated--thoughts/assumptions.
