When I was younger, I often wanted to use my lips for a pleasant kiss. Now I'm 87, I guess my lips are just remembering. OH, WAIT! You said "pressure" not "pleasure". Chucks. <g>
You are 87? Funny how we get ideas in our heads about people and for some reason I just didn't think you were 87 or anywhere close to that age.
Yeah, fighting in WWII and the Korean War, 29 years with IBM retiring as a senior manager, then 8 years as a news photographer for a daily and finally 15 years as a volunteer EMT on the rescue squad sure adds up quickly.

To get back to the nasal pillow business, I read a bunch of comments where users thought the Opus 360 was "the best", so maybe I was doing something wrong. I just bought some blue painter's tape and wore it for a couple of hours just to see how it goes. I soon found it is best not to sneeze with it on. <g>

I take a mid-day nap every day, so later this week I'll reset the machine and try using the Opus and tape for a 30-minute nap and see how that goes. If I can overcome the loud noise I previously had and the tape works okay, then I'll decide about trying to get the AirFit P10, which certainly looks like a better choice. Stay tuned.

The Opus is a good mask...I just personally think there are better nasal pillow masks out there...at least IMHO.
I have used the Opus and I could use it again but I just like some of the others better.
When it comes to the vent noise....The P10 wins hands down and it is super comfy. Another one that I imagine is very quiet is the Pilairo Q. It has a special little diffuser on it that I hear works quite well. The Eson nasal cushion mask also has that diffuser.
I have used the original Pilairo before the diffuser was added and it worked out okay I suppose but the one size fits all pillow was a bit annoying for various reasons so it wouldn't rank among my top preferred nasal pillow masks.
I have never even seen the ESON to offer any comments on it one way or the other. Nasal cushion masks aren't high on my experiment list.

If you were wanting to make a more permanent switch to a nasal pillow mask we might work harder at finding you a more suitable mask but if you are going to be going back to the full face mask as your primary mask then I don't know how much time and money you want to put into finding a nasal pillow mask....unless your DME is willing to let you try different ones and it not cost you anything. The P10 does come with free return insurance from cpap.com so at least if you hated it you could get your money back.
