A note in Brian Shul's "Sled Driver" book, on flying the SR71

"We did Nebraska in seven minutes today--and that's a pretty good way to do Nebraska".

So, did you hear about the second grader? Johnny raised his hand and his teacher called on him and asked him to pronounce "apnea." After a few minutes thought, he said AY-NEA. The teacher asked, "but what happened to the 'p'." He said, "I just raised my hand to go to the bathroom - so now, its running down my pants."
