I've noticed that some posters using the Quatro FX ffm have had some problems getting a good seal with little or no leaks. There is a very fine line between too tight and too loose. A solution that I have used, and works very well, is a combination of that mask, and the headgear from the hybrid mask. The hybrid headgear fits lower on the back of the head, and brings the bottom of the mask in lower and closer for a better seal, without being tighter.
It takes a couple of clips, plus the headgear, but it's very easy to adapt.
Just my humble opinion.

Re: Suggestion for Quatro FX FFM Users
The way I get the fx from leaking is to lower the top half of the head gear to the back of my head just under the base of the skull. The head gear design on the fx is the reason it leaks when you tighten the top all out fits is pull the mask up your face

Re: Suggestion for Quatro FX FFM Users
My totally subjective opinion on the Quattro FX and how to get a better fit without leaks (I used it for a whole year):
Simply switch to the new ResMed AirFit F10... as far as I'm concerned it's a much better full face mask, especially for the bucks. But hey, everybody is different and everybody has unique experiences when trying to find the perfect mask. I can respect that. That being said, try the F10. With the F10 that narrow little window of 'no leaks and good comfort' is not very narrow, it's more adaptive to adjustment without being overly fussy about a few millimeters of correct tightness.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

You need to be specific. The Innomed Hybrid mask or the ResMed Liberty mask?glarnold wrote:the hybrid mask

When I need to tighten the upper straps of the QFX headgear, I redirect the Velcro ends lower on the headgear just above my ears. This changes the angle of the tension straight back so it doesn't pull the mask upwards when tightened.

Sorry about not being more specific, made the switch a couple years ago, and had to look it up.
