Well right before work on Friday, Papman made an offer I couldn't refuse. A really great deal on a new machine and mask and I couldn't say No. So I didn't do the local buy over the weekend and am now just waiting for the new one in the mail. Thank You Papman for your help! The guy really surprised me when he came back with a better offer then what I was getting local.
Thanks to all of your help I think I might have managed to get over the 1 1/2 hour hump and went 2/12 hours with the mask on last night and my AHI was .3. My issue now though is I'm not completely falling asleep as I didn't last night. Have any of you had this issue? How did you overcome it? Or does it gradually get better and you finally start falling asleep? I was pretty close last night but I was still awake. Someone has suggested Melatonin before and I've used it before but it didn't do much for me and kind of made my sleep worse the last time I tried it. Are there any other things people have used or natural remedies? I'm trying to avoid delving too deep into drug assisted sleep.
I also made it in to School today which felt great! I'm hoping I can keep it up for the rest of the week and get caught up as I learned today I'm not too far behind the class.
