After sharing my issues with my boss and showing him pages of research and sleep tests he replies "you know what I do when I am having problems sleeping, I take a teaspoon of Nyquil" As if he were sharing a secret that would solve all of my issues

"Apnea is just a scam for the doctors. What did people do before they had CPAP machines? "

Sleep apnea is all in your head.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

lol, my suspicion is that the son said something but probably not what this woman "heard." She's sure she no longer has sleep apnea and she's sure her son agrees.

Mother-in-law*: "That's just the stupidest thing. Those idiots tried to make your [late] father-in-law put the stupid thing on in the hospital after he had his [septuple] bypass. He ripped it off and threw it in the corner."

Husband: (pompously) "I'm not convinced."

(*Note that I have not mentioned my cpap to my mother-in-law.)

This one is from a couple of days ago:

"Can't you just drink some calming tea before bed?"
