The air ports extend from the "duckbill", which is the air intake, to the rear molars. They dump the air out just behind the last molar.

So the intake air is deposited in front of the soft palate. I don't see how this could prevent obstructions. This device looks very much like a half-baked idea.

If anyone can explain it differently, I would like to hear it.
