Check this blog to understand the different models.
I suggest target ResMed S9 and Phillips Respironics PR System One machines.
Make sure to get a full efficacy data machine.
Good machines.
ResMed....S9 Elite & S9 AutoSet.
Machines to avoid in the ResMed S9 models....Escape and Escape Auto
Phillips Respsironics. It's hard to tell with the model names by themselves so I usually tell people to learn the model numbers.
Model numbers are 3 digits on a little sticker on the bottom of the blower unit...Remember model 450 or higher and all those have full efficacy data.
There's a lot of "bricks" out there...model 250 or 260 or 150...you don't want on of those.

Then check your local craisglist....if you are still unsure of model or if the price is a good price...post a link to the machine and question and we will let you know if it's a good deal or not.
