By legacy bipap are you referring to a tank? Is there a model # on the bottom or writing on the top that will help? Color?
If the tank the power supply is internal right?

It might help to post an image of the electrical spec label on the original power supply--if available.
Some of these may be lying around in boxes with no obvious labeling.

Since the OP stated a "Legacy Bi-PAP", that would be what we affectionately refer to as a "tank".
Those machines used an external 24volt power supply.
