Need new tube with Swift Fx pillows?
Need new tube with Swift Fx pillows?
For the first time in 3 years of PAP use, my Swift Fx pillow order all came with the small Swift Fx tube in the small bag. Does this hint that I should change the tube when I change the pillow? Does the tube exhaust ports plug up in the five weeks for my usual pillow use? My small tube in not usually changed until I change the Climaline tube, about every 8 months and I have never noticed any problems.

Re: Need new tube with Swift Fx pillows?
No, you don't need to change the short tube when you change nasal pillows. You should be cleaning the short tube occasionally *smile*, but as just a tube, it's made and used much differently than the pillows that go into your nose. I'd say that you should replace the short hose as part of replacing your headgear, however often you do that, as opposed to when you replace your nasal pillows (more frequently).

It hints that your DME thinks they can get away with selling you something you did not order.
