It has forever been thus. Or, at least since 2005. The controversy, that is.

Indeed it is.

Since it was under discussion I was only throwing my .02 into the milieu. Nothing more than an opinion, which seem to be freely expressed here.

I'm happy to be here and participate under whatever guidelines our hosts see fit.

I'm sure that SOME would be happy if there were none palerider!

but that's ok, anonymous cowards hiding in the dark and lobbing fecalbombs at anyone that doesn't agree with the cowards ravings don't count as far as I'm concerned

I find it amusing that the coward is doing all the things that I'm being accused of, without ever actually contributing anything of value.

Ya know I thought you had civilized some but as usu. I was wrong.

I find the Obama spin machine forgetting about your behavior problem and trying to make it about something they have absolutely no control over and that is a Guest. But then they have absolutely no control over your behavior either or do they.

Yes... I hear you. However, guest's posts will have the same impact as other posts. Some will like and agree with his posts... and some will criticize and view his posts with disgust. Nothing new about that.

Why not check this out with the Goodmans? Judging by their past actions relative to this forum, I think they would agree.

Pat,

Fuggggaboutit. Your apology is sincere but certainly isn't warranted from my standpoint.

This forum is similar in some ways to my chosen profession, RN, in that in nursing, we tend to "eat our young" and run off the experienced staff.

Certainly, there are posters here that seem to find joy in needling people and others that are contrary, grumpy, controlling, or just plain mean with their posts.

Try to ignore these posters, utilize the duck theory and let the mean-spirited posts just roll off your back, like water on a duck. You truly are in charge of how you react to these specific individuals. If you allow them to push your buttons, they will never stop. It's just human nature as some people are wired this way.

Try to concentrate on really helpful posters as I have picked up some really useful tips on this site.

Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to repay the kind treatment by some really knowledgable and informed members by paying-it-forward and helping someone else new to this nasty disease.

Please don't feel the need to apologize.

Respectfully,
TheWino

Palerider,

I find it interesting that Pat reached out to you twice in an attempt to bury the hatchet and you're still spending time trying to get the last word with someone. You never acknowledged him unless you did it by PM.

Thewino,

You are already paying things forward by writing posts like this one and similar type messages in previous threads. I need to follow your advice which admittedly, I don't always succeed at. But I need to try.

pat who?

and i'm not "trying to get the last word with someone", that's impossible with the anonymous coward, so I don't even try.

the OP, who, after telling me that I was the scum of the earth, I added to my foe list, since he wasn't offering anything else, and, I believe I may have even stated I'd done such to cut down on friction, ... now you're damning me for not reading that he had a change of heart or something?

I see that you share ems's view that I can do no right.

it's been pointed out to me by 49er that I'd missed something from you, given that the one bit of my advice that you seemed to like was the foe list.

sure, you started it, you can finish it, I'm not sure what you want me to say here, you decided to take time out of your busy schedule, first to attack me, then to make a fake apology, and now to want to agree to disagree.

I thought we already had agreed to do that, and go on your separate ways, so, therefore, I'd suppose that i already agreed to disagree.
