Isabel I've had the same problem with a tender nose, I'm only ten days into therapy but it's getting better. My DME did warn me up front that it would take 2-3 wks for my nose to "toughen up" but the breakouts were a bit unexpected! You've been given a lot of great advice already so I won't harp on it, but do feel free to pm me if you'd like to compare notes. Stick with it, it is worth it!

I have very sensitive skin and that may be part of the issue. There have been no leaks and I have been able to wear it all night. The software for my system is mind something.Has anyone heard of it. I also started using the humidifier in the machine and that is helping with the dry mouth. Thank you all so much.
put on a tiny amount (I use maybe a bb sized amount, maybe... ) first, it helps keep your nose from getting sore.

you should be able to use it at any time, before, during and after, it's supposed to be good for your skin.

I suggest getting sleepyhead software from sleepfiles.com/SH

Hmmm... trial and error I would think. But, I haven't heard about anyone being allergic to Lansinoh.

Your profile shows the PR System One Plus CPAP....model 250...you might have the model 260 which is the PR System One 60 Series Plus CPAP.....unfortunately if you have either of those models the only thing that the software would show you is hours of use.
Those models don't collect any data beyond how many hours you use it each night.
If that is what you have or if you are unsure....turn over the blower unit (remove water chamber if water is in it) and look for a little silver sticker with the model number on it. It has 3 digits and will likely have REF or DS in front or behind the 3 digits.

Now if you made a mistake and have some model 450 or higher...then you can use the available software (see the links in my signature line) to evaluate your data. If you have 450 or higher model number tell us those 3 digits and we can tell you exactly which model you have and which machine to choose from the equipment profile menu. I am hoping you just chose the wrong machine.

If you have the 250/260 machine then you have what we not so lovingly call a "brick" and you need to read this blog especially the part near the bottom "help I am stuck with a brick"
