Hi Everyone
I just join, a newbie
Can someone tell me if there are medical stores online that sell CPAP machines and will take my health insurance?

Re: CPAP machine
You could try this one: http://cornermedical.com/
These are brick and mortar stores; the Minnesota stores are listed on this page but they may have stores in other parts of the country... it looks like they might sell online, and they do take insurance. You could call them and find out. I have been in their Rochester store, but they are not the DME that I use. I did go in to buy liners once when my DME was closed and I needed some. I purchased my walker from them when I needed one after my knee replacement.

Cpap.com is as good an online dealer as there is - give them a call.

Thank you very much for attempting to assist me but unfortunately they do not take out of state insurance.

Re: CPAP machine
Most insurance companies will provide you with a list of DMEs they will pay. A few will allow you to pay and reimburse you. You need to ask your insurance what they will allow.
With their list in hand you can start your search for your best solution.
My insurance will only pay one DME (short list) Apria.

Re: CPAP machine
Don't start with the DME, start with your insurance company. ASK if they cover any online DME's, and which ones if they do.
IF a DME tells you they take your insurance, be sure to confirm it with your insurance company to make sure they take your plan. NEVER trust information from the DME unless you've verified it yourself!
