Most insurance plans have different limits on replacements, for the obvious reason that some parts need to be replaced more often than others. So it's completely reasonable that people are going to need more or less stuff at different points in time. And people are only one size -- if they send every xPAP user home with the size needed and 2/3/4 sizes that the patient has no use for, then we all have to pay for that waste sooner or later through our taxes, medical premiums, or through other things we have to give up. MY disappointment is that the system allows manufacturers and sellers to deliver stuff and charge for stuff that patients have no use for.

If you got the back strap then I have no explanation as to why you got a sealed complete mask package with only one nasal pillow attached to the frame.
Resmed doesn't prepackage it that way. It's not available....the ResMed Product list above is what DMEs order from.
I would understand theIThe should be in individual little baggies though with size letter on the outside. That's the way bulk pillows are sold..in those little individual bags with letter on it. One big bag with a lot of other little bags inside it. Nasal pillow still in the individual little zip lock bag.

Not doubting you but I do wonder how a DME can come up with a sealed package that ResMed doesn't offer for sale.
If you hadn't said that I wouldn't have known the difference. I have what I need... with 4 new pillows... so I'm not going to go thru the hassle of calling them. I did get one big baggie with other small baggies inside, with size letter on the outside. Maybe they do have a sealer and if so, it does a damn good job. Not sure what to think.

Oh, I wouldn't either. Not worth it at all.
Maybe they have some old stock available from back when ResMed offered different packaging or something. Just because something isn't offered now doesn't mean it wasn't offered in the past.
I am pretty sure the product list I linked to is a more current list as it has the newest masks listed like the AirFit series.
You got what you wanted and needed and that's the most important thing.
