How do I interpret ResScan software output?

Hello. I'm a newbie to this excellent and informative forum.
Sorry if the question of the new topic I have started has been answered before.
I would like to submit the results of the ResScan software taken from the SD card of my ResMed S9 Autoset machine. So that members of the forum can let me know what the details mean.
I have had my driving licence revoked by the UK DVLA, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, and want to make best use of my S9 so that what the DVLA state as “inappropriate drowsiness” becomes controlled and my licence to drive restored as soon as possible.

And since the data is the same, and the presentation of the data is not all that different, you might also find Pugy's Pointers in the sticky thread of some use. Indeed, you may find SleepyHead easier to use overall than ResScan.

One important note about Resmed S9 machines: If you don't download the data at least once every 7 days, you WILL lose some of the detailed data.

The tutorial http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_tutorial/ was useful in how to use the software. I wanted to find out what the info meant as far as what was going wrong with me.

Wow! Pugsys Pointers. Lots of reading to do. No sleep for me tonight then! .
Actually I won't read any more now as it is bedtime for me. The reading can wait until tomorrow.

I tried installing SleepyHead on my Linux/Ubuntu system. No success thus far. May try on my old Windows XP.

I look at the data for each day to see how well my sleep is progressing.
I've tried other suggestions but am moving towards the most effective arrangement for me.
- I'm naturally a back sleeper but find sleeping on left hand side by being forcibly kept there by a backpack stuffed with two rolled up towels minimuses apneas and leaks.
- Hose coming from the side.
The above is how I slept on Thursday night where there were no obstructive apneas and only a few central ones. So I will repeat that set up tonight.

Good point about the 7 day loss of detailed data with the Resmed S9 machines. It will have been at least two weeks before I take the SD card into the hospital consultant.
I have saved the SD card data every day and can see that it is written on the SD card. Also I copy the SD card contents to a folder on my PC and onto another SD card I have.

That advice was wrong.

Resmed S9 units keep all detailed data available for 30 days on the SD card. There is a 7 day limit for some high rate data, however, that high rate data is highly unlikely to be of any interest to you or your sleep clinician in the start-up phase of PAP treatment

What exactly does "high rate data" show? I've never seen it on my Resmed data.

For CPAP/APAP data capable S9 models its data on "Flow Rate". VPAP models have a couple of additional high-rate data types.

High rate data is recorded ~25 times per second. Detailed data is normally recorded second or so.
