Thanks for the links to the medical research, looks like a viscous cycle between OSA & wieght gain. I've noticed it, over the last year as my OSA was getting worse, I was gaining more & more wieght, which only seemed to make me even more tired.
And its not just obese people, i'm probably only 20-30 lbs overwieght, but its a noticable differance. I know losing it won't cure my OSA, but it certainly can't hurt it.
Overweight and loving it....

additional comments
Just wanted to make some additional clarifying comments. I am about 75 lbs., overweight. Obesity is increasing at an alarming rate. I know right now the #1 killer in the United States is obesity, smoking is second. Does everyone realize what portions are considered normal anymore in our super size it world? I think most people eat larger proportions than we should and make poor choices in what we are feeding our bodies. I have made poor food choices as well as finding excuses not to be physically active at least to the degree that I would burn some calories. I am not out to cut anyone down. It would be interesting to find out what everyone weighs in this forum, wouldn't it???
