Help with Leak Rate Graphs, Please
Re: Help with Leak Rate Graphs, Please
Thanks, robysue. I'll take a look at it as soon as I have a little more time.

Re: Help with Leak Rate Graphs, Please
I am not even sure the snores mean anything. I was just wondering if you happened to see if there was a pattern.
Minimal snores and minimal events type of thing going on at the same time on the reports. Sort of like that last hour on your report. Asking about hose management only to see if you were already doing the hose cozy thing to take that potential "noise" variable out of the equation.
Again, I was just "supposing". I have no concrete scientific basis for my thoughts. Just what iffing.. What if the snores are real and do mean something in relation to that AHI and your crappy feeling in general. If adding a hose cozy and specifically watching just the snore index we should at least be able to eliminate that one possible variable. Again, just thinking outside the box.. what if they are real and just enough to disrupt sleep in some fashion because they stem from something. If mouth is taped and we have eliminated hose noise as factor, where are they coming from and why?
I am like Robysue. Some nights I have snores reported on the graphs. Husband does report a few snores. Some nights I have none on the reports and he still reports a few snores. Bear in mind that my husband is over the road truck driver so I don't get him home except maybe 2 nights a week so I can't rely on his comments much and even then can't expect him to be awake monitoring me all the time. I do know that hose management does not seem to make any difference. The snores are there no matter if I use hose cozy or not. This has gone on a long time. I do see increased pressures sometimes in response to the snores. Well probably not the snores themselves but I will see an event or 2 and probably coincidence that snores, events and pressure increased occurred at about the same time. I do know if I drop that minimum pressure overall snores and events and clusters will occur. Everything gets worse. So I would then assume that at least part of my snores are real and possibly indication that an event trigger could be occurring. Do I know for sure? No, there is no way to know for sure.
How would this what iffing relate to you? Probably not at all but on the off chance these are real snores, something is causing them and that something could possibly be disrupting your sleep enough to mess with how you feel. Maybe teeny tiny flow limitation. Just trying to look at all possible angles which remotely could possibly shed a bit of light on what is going on in your unique situation. It's a stretch I know. At least a little detective work is better than "give it time" when we are sick of "giving it time". Hurts nothing to consider it and maybe just look at things from a different perspective.
