Re: Aw crap! Got the flu
I've had the flu for the last week or so with a sore throat, congestion, etc. I too have the Swift LT. What I've done with positive effect is to turn my humidifier to 4 or 5. I certainly feel better with the machine on! The only bad part is rain out. When my hose starts to gurgle, I unhook it from my mask and hold it down to let the water drain and then right back on.Sleeprider wrote:I haven't been sick in many years. I've done my share of gloating as others line up for their flu shots and sent my sympathies to others who were suffering from symptoms. Not it got me thanks to my daughter's visit from PA.
I've been running a low grade fever since Saturday, unproductive cough, endless congestion and some sinus pain. Surprisingly, I stay clear most of the night with decongestants, and the warm humidified air feels very soothing. I'm concerned since I don't have a FF that eventually symptoms will overcome the opening effect of the swift LT. There is no real point to this thread other than to say, "yeah, me too". Maybe I'll find a use for that unused Oxycontin from that procedure a couple years ago .
Anyway, if you've been sick, I can finally say, I know how you feel.
