I use a quattro mask & since switching to it am getting high leak rates even though it seems to fit better than my UMFF did.

Hope you are able to get this sorted out. I haven't tried the Vpap Auto or any of the M series so can't offer any advice as to which is best.

DSM thanks. I have spent most of my day doing some reasearch and it looks like the M has a problem with high pressure as I had thought it did before.
I had tried just about every full face mask I could get my hands on before I tried the quattro and it worked the best for me.
The actual leak rate of the mask if 54 lpm which is high but I don't really get any other leaks except for the occasional leake when I move bad or turn my face into the pillow.

I had similar problems with my Respironics M Series BiPAP machines. I went through 3 of them because they would skip nights of data or present data that should NOT have been displayed. It was a nightmare. The data listed dates I had't even owned my machine! I printed out sheets of the data and showed them to the manufacturer, my DME and the sleep lab. Finally convinced my sleep doc that the machine was malfunctioning and requested my ResMed VPAP Auto but ONLY because the Respironics machines malfunctioned. He didn't want to give it to me originally, thinking I just wanted to test drive other bilevels, but when I finally presented him with the printed out proof of the malfunction and explained that the ResMed VPAP Auto was the counterpart to the Respironics BiPAP (and it was even cheaper), only THEN did he agree to write a prescription for the new ResMed. I've been happy with it ever since I got it last year.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about printing up the data. I did show it to them before but not as proof their were problems.
