Many people report sleeping better when they don't have work the next day.
I'm retired and mostly only do what I want to. But even then, I sleep better when there is nothing scheduled the next morning. I think contributing to better sleep is a sense of relief knowing that if you have a bad night you can catch some extra Zs in the morning. When I have something scheduled the next morning, even something fun, I feel pressure to get a good night's sleep. Of course this backfires.
That's really true for me, too. I still work sometimes and getting up early is the worst part.
I retired at 58. Just had had enough. I like to be sure to have a limited income during bad economic times. Makes for great relaxation. or not.

Thanks everyone for your kind words!!! I have to go back to work tomorrow but I hope I still have good numbers tonight like last night!!! LOL! I cannot wait to be retired or at least be able to do my job from home. I could take a cool after nap as part of the company wellness program----
I did lose 22 pounds since I was diagnosed with OSA. Last year I was deemed borderline diabetes so it was time to lose the weight and exercize more ---I feel so much better!! Now I am working on losing the next 22 pounds!!!.
