Hi all. I have been on CPAP therapy for 5 months and was diagnosed severe in REM and supine and mild in side. I have been experimenting with settings (pressure, humidity, temperature, EPR, etc.) pillow positions, nasal sprays, zero-gravity positions a lot. I also use OSCAR too. I do wake up with dry mouth but face masks like f20 an f30i have been very difficult to keep on for over 1-2 hours. Even my n30i which is airtouch I end up removing it too. I have been recording my self with time-lapse feature on camera and see myself removing it very quickly. My leaks seem to be removing the mask rather than leak -> removal, more like removal-> leak. Not exactly sure tho.
I have diagnoses of nasal obstruction and am on Flonase and Azelastine.
I have a Resmed Airsense 11 with pressure 11- 14, sleep study pressure of 14 during titration (not during REM or supine tho), EPR 3, climate control auto, temperature 78 degrees, ramp off, use a chin strap, smartstart on smartstop off, autoset mode on, response standard.
If anyone here could give some advice I would really appreciate it. I am open to DMing to share my OSCAR data.
Yes, I have tried socks, gloves, everything to prevent myself from removing the mask lol!
Thank you very much.

Re: Struggling to keep CPAP on the entire night
I had nasal obstructions (deviated septum and large turbinates) and had surgery. It helped quite a bit but didn't cure the sinus swelling. I breath better but not perfectly. I tried both Flonase and Azelastine, neither did much, but over the counter capsaicin nasal spray works pretty well for me better than the prescription meds. It burns a little but no where near what I expected. I also use a power navage nasal irrigation machine with some success as well. If you can improve the nasal blockage it may help the feelings that trigger taking off your mask.
I use Respironics Dreamwear headgear with the N30i (AirTouch version like yours). The ResMed standard headgear slips up the back of my head, I was adjusting it a lot at night in my sleep to keep it on my head. I'm wondering if that is happening to you. If you look on Amazon you can get the Respironics headgear inexpensively, I paid 5 bucks for two of them. I also use a Caldera soft neck pillow. If you add a velcro strip you can connect it in the back to the Respironics headgear which will rest just above the pillow, which closes with velcro, the strip will keep the headgear from coming off easily.
This is just me, I hope some of it is useful. I've been using CPAP for 20 years now and have had to improvise a lot of different things over the years, don't give up. Doctors have been of little help when it comes to problems like these.
