Where is the AirSense 12?

Hmm I always wondered how come Resmed didn’t come out with a12 yet it seems like the 10 and 11 of the AirSense series have been out for quite a while now. I currently have the 10 but am due to be getting the 11 pretty soon.

There were seven years between the release of the AS 10 and 11. A lot of people started speculating about the release of the AS 11 after four or so years, some thought they would wait. Many who did wait for the 11 were disappointed because the 11 had problems and few (if any) advantages.

ResMed does not publish anticipated release dates.

It's a medical device, not an iPhone.

If I were ResMed I would release a new model every 5 years as that is about time when most insurance and providers will allow you to replace your machine.

That's rediculous...You release a new product when there are new features that will benefit users...not on a time schedule. My Airsense 10 is 7 years old. I am on Medicare and could get a new machine if I wanted, but I do not want an Airsense 11. I will keep using my 10 for another year . I have already purchased another new 10 that will last me at least 7 years after my current 10 stops working....I only hope I live that long....I'm 86.

Well to each their own.but in my opinion it’s always best to go with the recommendation of 5 years between machines. Enough said. By the way I will be getting a 11 as that’s what my doctor ordered and my insurance covers it and it’s about time for a upgrade anyway.
