Confused reading the info.on my Cpap machine

Hi every one on board site as I am new to this condition I’m asking and hoping I might get answer.
I don’t understand how I’m sleeping only 4 hours and getting readings of 19.1 AHI’s.I’m using the Resmed Airsense 10 elite and have been diagnosed what I’m told is ordinary apnea
Any help gratefully received many thanks in advance
