The big swings in the PS causing the pressures to go up so high is the machine breathing for you when you don't breathe on your own.
You can limit the big spikes by limiting max PS but then you are going to have times where you don't breathe on your own...centrals...and those can also cause wake ups. Limiting the max PS could mean not adequately taking care of the central apnea stuff.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't IF (big if) it is the pressure swings that are disturbing things.
It is also possible that it is the central apnea that is disturbing things and you see the arousal from the apnea and not necessarily from the pressure changes.

Still doing really well with the lower pressures -- AHI is consistently much lower than before: https://prnt.sc/p9tzw4

The pressure support now seems to be sufficiently powerful to eliminate most of the hypopneas from before.

However, I am wondering if the big pressure spikes themselves could also be causing me to wake up.

See here: https://prnt.sc/p9u1ee
And here: https://prnt.sc/p9u1se

Anyone know how to deal with this?
It's more likely that the breathing problems are waking you up, not the pressure support.
